CM Solarization Program for Agri Tube wells

The Punjab Government has launched the CM Solarization Program to convert 8,000 electric and diesel tubewells into solar-powered systems. This initiative aims to lower energy costs for farmers and promote sustainable agriculture.

Subsidy Details

Farmers will receive subsidies based on the solar system size:

• 10 KW, 15 KW, or 20 KW systems.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a resident of Punjab (Valid CNIC required).
• Must own at least 1 acre of land in Punjab.
• Land ownership must be in the same district as the application (Fard-e-Malkiat required).
• Solar system capacity must be 10 KW, 15 KW, or 20 KW only.

For electric tubewells:

• Submit the last paid electricity bill.
• Connection must have been established before October 30, 2024.
• Must have a 3-phase electrical connection.
